So this is it. This is where decline of the internet begins. The eternal promise of intelligent and insightful news-tainment has been washed away by the terminal prattlings of my inner psyche.
When the internet was born, there was a boundless potential for all things great and grand to be brought forth, and shared amongst the people. Truth, liberty and crass commercialism for all - and we were meant to suck it all up and pretend we liked the taste of the enforced democratic smegma.
Democracy is a fools dream. We have as much power, as the ants have hordes of gold bullion. The concept that the people are strong, and that, when united with one voice, we can conquer anything, is as much a lie as santa signifying the importance of christmas. We live in a false world with little hope for Real Truth and Equality of life. We will never be able to stand as one voice whilst there are bigots, racists, homophobes and religious fanatics on every corner of every street.
How can we stand as one, when our only true hope for existential enlightenment and global harmony, rests upon the shoulders of one man… hiredgoon (the village idiot).
